Moss appeared on stage with a very obvious baby bump, which Kimmel immediately asked about.
“Are you pregnant or just an incredibly committed method actor?” he said, to which Elisabeth replied, “A little bit of both.”
Fortunately for Moss, she has had a relatively easy pregnancy and it has all gone very smoothly. “I’ve been really lucky. It’s been going really well,” Moss said.
It is the first pregnancy for the star who remains tight lipped about her private life. She was previously married to Fred Armisen, from 2009-2011.
The star did ask Kimmel, father of four, for advice about starting her family. The host recalled advice from Bill Murray, who said to “‘Bring Christmas lights to hang up,’” referring to the delivery room’s lack of soft lighting. He added that Murray also suggested battery-powered candles. “Because the lighting is terrible in the room. It’s Walmart-style lighting for this blessed event that’s going to happen and you don’t want that.”
Moss was promoting her new series, The Veil, which premieres in April.
