It’s not too late to watch films from this year’s Doc Edge Festival

Doc Edge announced a two-week encore season, with 32 feature films and 22 short films from the festival available to rent on demand. There are also more than 40 Q&A sessions recorded with filmmakers during the festival that are available to watch.

Films rented will be available for viewers to watch for 48 hours once they press play. The encore season runs until 19 July, so visit festival.docedge.nz and start browsing the amazing selection of engaging and educational documentaries.

This year marked the first time in Doc Edge’s 15-year history that the festival was streamed into homes across New Zealand.

More than 50,000 viewers watched 83 films during the festival, and the response from viewers who have been able to enjoy Doc Edge from their own homes has been overwhelmingly positive.

Streaming the films online has allowed people from all over Aotearoa ‘attend’ the festival for the first time.
