13 Ways to Wear Blue Right Now

We’ve rounded up 13 ways to wear blue this season.

If you can’t quite talk yourself into wearing vibrant shades of pink this season but still want to a inject a little colour to your wardrobe, blue might be the colour for you. After all, there’s a good reason why Classic Blue was named as Pantone Colour of the Year.

“We are living in a time that requires trust and faith. It is this kind of constancy and confidence that is expressed by PANTONE  Classic Blue, a solid and dependable blue hue we can always rely on. Imbued with a deep resonance, Classic Blue provides an anchoring foundation,” says Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Colour Institute.

Versatile and enduring when added to your wardrobe, blue can be as understated or as show-stopping as you want it to be. Layer it with denim, add a bold coat over the top of a monochrome look or play with blue accessories this season.

hej hej’s is Coming to Wellington for One Week Only

According to hej hej co-founder Kiki, it was a love for colourful, easy-to-wear clothing that inspired the much-loved fashion brand.  “We wanted to create a new category in the industry by offering a range of distinctive pieces, made from premium fabrics and yarns, available exclusively online and through our popup stores,” explains Kiki.

Since launching just a couple of years ago, the linen-based homegrown fashion brand has gone from strength to strength, and this week Wellingtonians will get to experience hej hej up close and personal.

With a large Wellington customer base, but no brick-and-mortar stockists in the city, hej hej is taking the opportunity to let loyal Wellington have a hands-on experience with the newest collection.

To celebrate the brand’s latest collection, hej hej is hosting a pop-up event at Caughley from the 3rd to 9th of August.

The hej hej pop-up will run 3 to 9 August at Caughley. The new Ode to Linen collection is also available online now.
