12 Kiwi designers release new charitable tees in breast cancer fight
Just in time for winter, a new season of New Zealand's iconic fund-raising tee-shirts have been released.

Breast Cancer Cure ‘Tees for a Cure’ campaign has generated over $1,000,000 in sales since 2021, providing vital funds for breast cancer research in Aotearoa.

For winter, 12 kiwi designers and fashion brands have contributed to the range, offering prints that range from graphic and geometric to pretty pearls and floral recreations.

This season the designs are available in men’s and women’s long sleeve tees, crew-neck sweatshirts and hoodies.

The designers involved are Trelise Cooper, Coop, Kathryn Wilson, Storm, Yvonne Bennetti, Tuesday, Hailwood, Repetoire, Moochi, Federation, Stella & Gemma and Nyne.

Garments are available to pre-order now for delivery from June 12th. Prices range from $69 for a long-sleeved tee to $99 for a crew-neck or hoodie with proceeds going to Breast Cancer Cure ‘s work funding vital breast cancer research.

This season’s Breast Cancer Cure ‘Tees for a Cure’ designs from federation and Nyne.

“Breast Cancer is a disease that does not discriminate, affecting both men and women alike, says CEO of Breast Cancer Cure, Sonja de Mari.

“Think of your most favourite humans; your mum and dad, sisters and brothers, best friends or favourite teacher, statistically breast cancer affects one in nine females in NZ, each year 25 men are
diagnosed with breast cancer.”

“Thankfully our breast cancer researchers are world-class and their projects are at the heart of the progress being made to date,” she says.

“We are excited to offer inspirational layers to add into your winter wardrobe as part of this year’s Winter ‘Tees for a Cure’ collection.”
