MoVida, Melbourne’s acclaimed tapas restaurant, is coming to Auckland
One of Melbourne’s most acclaimed restaurants is expanding into Aotearoa, offering Kiwis a taste of fine Spanish cuisine and culture.

Since opening in a graffiti covered laneway in Melbourne in 2003, MoVida has remained a must-try restaurant. Owner and chef Frank Camorra is set to open MoVida Auckland in the city’s Britomart precinct this August, introducing Kiwi diners to the restaurant’s iconic tapas dishes, such as anchovy with smoked tomato sorbet, along with seasonal specials that champion New Zealand produce.

“I’m excited about coming down and getting the opportunity to utilise New Zealand’s world class local produce in all its forms,” says Camorra. “We have a  large wood fired grill going into the new kitchen something that will be unique to Auckland and will showcase the produce in all its glory.”

Backed by hospitality powerhouse, Savor, and situated in the former Ostro restaurant, MoVida Auckland is primely located at the edge of Auckland’s harbour, with stunning sea views and modern interiors designed by Izzard Design.

Like Melbourne, Auckland diners are sophisticated and well-travelled and they want memorable dining  experiences that celebrate the very best produce,” says Camorra.
