Kiwi skincare brand delivers luxury products for below the neck

Inspired to start her luxury skincare ‘below the neck’ body care brand following a years-long experience with endometriosis, Tronque founder Tanné Snowden found its launch has also been well timed beyond her personal experience.

With a tagline of ‘against neck down neglect’ and a brand name inspired by the ‘trunk’ of our bodies, the brand is meeting increased demand for clean, effective formulas designed to treat your body with as much care as your face.

Recovering from her second second surgery, Snowden became concerned that the products she was using on the scars on her pelvis weren’t effective and contained potential endocrine disruptors, or compounds that can mimic hormones.

“I started to mix my own, clean alternative to help erase my scars, which worked incredibly well, explains Snowden “After this success, I gave the mixture to friends and family and word of mouth started to spread. This led me to create Tronque, a range of clean, effective body care designed to treat your body with as much care as your face.

Tronque’s Scar concentrate has become the hero of the line, designed to soften and fade scars, stretch marks, pigmentation and boost skin’s collagen and elasticity. It contains four potent forms of Vitamin C, plant stem cells, bakuchiol and a complex of 26 bioactive superfruits and antioxidants.

An Exfoliating Refining Serum using natural AHAs and BHA and Firming Body Butter rich in vitamins, minerals, amino acids and enzymes, bioactive Wakame seaweed from the Marlborough Sounds complete the trio the brand has launched with.

Each comes in weighty packaging designed to be purchased once, with refills soon to be available.

“The amount of customers who have been silently begging for targeted body treatments that not only feel good, but are good for you and work towards getting results from the neck down, has been remarkable, says Snowden.

“Every body is beautiful, imperfections and all. At Tronque we celebrate the human form, and every body deserves products that look after it inside and out. Skincare means more than just your face – beauty is for head to toe and everything in between,” says Snowden.

While fans have asked when facial products will be available, Tronque’s founder says it is tempting but her expansion will remain dedicated to further body products for the foreseeable future.
