Cameron Diaz announced her retirement from acting in 2018 – but now the star has revealed she will be making a new film.
She’s set to star alongside Jamie Foxx in an action comedy titled Back in Action.
Details of the storyline have not been released, but the film was written by Seth Gordon and Brendan O’Brien and will be directed by the former.
It comes eight years after Diaz was in her last film, a remake of Annie, which also starred Foxx.
Foxx announced Back in Action on social media, sharing a recording of a phone call between himself and Diaz.
Foxx enlisted the help of NFL great Tom Brady to give Diaz tips on how to ‘un-retire’.
