Australia’s top artists take the stage in outdoor live music event
The inaugural ‘Night at the Barracks’ concert series presents the crème de la crème of Australian music performing at an iconic Sydney location.

Imagine yourself nibbling on gourmet goodies and sipping champagne as stars twinkle above, thrilling to the smooth tones of crooner David Campbell, Abba tribute band Björn Again or opera stars David Hobson and Lucy Durack. That vision can come true this September at an exciting new concert series – Night at the Barracks, North Head. High on the hill at Manly’s North Head above Sydney Harbour is a hidden wonderland – a former army barracks currently being transformed into the city’s newest outdoor entertainment destination.

From Friday, 9 September for a month, the barracks will come alive to the sounds of 16 distinct musical acts. From singers Jessica Mauboy and Tim Finn, to jazz musician James Morrison, to tap dancers The Tap Pack, to alt-rock bands like Something for Kate and The Rubens, there’s an event to cater for every taste. In addition, a full bar will be on the grounds, along with a number of local food vendors to provide delicious sustenance while you enjoy the evening.

Night at the Barracks North Head is a brand-new concept, crafted to re-imagine the live event experience. The organisers have been careful to ensure a balance between the live outdoor performances and the historical, ecologically diverse and natural beauty of The Barracks precinct and wider North Head Sanctuary. This includes a goal of zero impact on the flora, fauna and wildlife abundant within the North Head sanctuary.

So, if you’re ready to get out and enjoy some live music this spring in a unique and magical bushland venue, don’t delay. For the full program and more information, visit night at the barracks.com.au
