The Iconic film series is back in 'Toy Story 5' as the toy gang face the arrival of digital devices that fight for children's attention.

Toy Story 5 is on its way to theatres, the heartwarming franchise bringing all its favourite characters back for another big screen excursion.

In a very topical twist, its creators have chosen to use the new film to touch on a new generation of play – children moving away from traditional play and reaching for digital devices.

Tom Hanks and Tim Allen are returning to reprise their roles as the iconic duo, Woody the Cowboy and Buzz Lightyear the astronaut and Joan Cusack also returns as Cowgirl Jessie.

The new film will also feature one toy gaining a voice for the first time ever. It has been reported that Bullseye, Woody’s trusty steed, will be voiced by Alan Cumming, as the horse ‘speaks’ through a child’s imagination.

The new ‘enemy’ of the gang is a a froglike, smart tablet device named Lilypad.

Toy Story 5 comes more than three decades since Toy Story’s 1995 debut. The new film arrives in cinemas on June 18, 2026.
