When she gets the call that her Italian grandfather has passed away, Kristin (Toni Collette) flies to Rome for the funeral. What seems like a straightforward trip, turns into an action-packed adventure as Kristin finds out her family run a mafia empire, and that her grandfather has left it for her to run.
Directed by Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight, Thirteen, Lords of Dogtown), Mafia Mamma is an action comedy tells the story of a woman hilariously defying everyone’s expectations, including her own.
The film also stars Monica Bellucci, Alfonso Perugini and Giulio Corso.
Mafia Mamma will be out exclusively in cinemas from 13 April.
