In the first Asteroid City trailer, Wes Anderson shows off his signature filmmaking style, alongside a packed ensemble cast featuring long-time collaborators and a bunch of newcomers.
Asteroid City follows Jason Schwartzman’s Mitchell Campbell, a widower with four kids who gets stuck in a US desert town. Things turn interesting when it appears alien life has appeared on Earth.
Tom Hanks, Scarlett Johansson, Bryan Cranston, Margot Robbie, Rupert Friend, Maya Hawke and Steve Carell are among some of the actors making their first appearance in an Anderson film. They join Anderson-regulars Tilda Swinton, Adrien Brody, Willem Dafoe, Edward Norton and Jeff Goldblum.
Asteroid City will arrive in cinemas on 23 June.
