The Crown stars Olivia Colman and Helena Bonham Carter have revealed how much they enjoyed playing sisters in the award-winning Netflix series.
Taking over the iconic roles of Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Margaret for season three, Colman and Bonham Carter said the fact that they already got along well helped in conveying the pair’s special relationship.
“We liked each other so it was really good that we ended up getting to act with each other,” Bonham Carter said.
“Because we fell quite at ease with each other, it wasn’t a huge amount of preparation.”
“Playing sisters means it’s so much fun,” added Colman.
The two actresses are set to return as Elizabeth and Margaret in season four, to be released on Netflix on Sunday 15 November.
