Jennifer Lopez has been busy with weddings of late, what with her starring role in Marry Me and her real-life marriage to Ben Affleck. Now, she’s returning to the theme in a new action-packed romantic comedy, alongside Josh Duhamel.
In the Shotgun Wedding trailer, we meet Lopez’s Darcy as she prepares to wed Tom (Duhamel) at a beautiful destination wedding. But just as they start to get cold feet, everyone’s lives are put in danger as the wedding party is taken hostage, resulting in an adrenaline-fuelled fight to save their loved ones.
Starring alongside Lopez and Duhamel in Shotgun Wedding is Lenny Kravitz as Darcy’s handsome ex-boyfriend and Jennifer Coolidge as her mother-in-law to be. The film is directed by Jason Moore, who is known for directing and producing Pitch Perfect.
Shotgun Wedding will release globally on Prime Video on 27 January, 2023.
