‘I Am: Celine Dion’ details superstar’s struggle with life-altering illness

The trailer for 'I Am: Celine Dion' has been released.

The documentary is described as a love letter to Celine Dion’s fans. In the film, the star opens up about her struggle with Stiff Person Syndrome, a rare neurological disorder.

The most common symptoms of the condition are muscle stiffness and painful spasms that can come and go and can worsen over time.

Other symptoms such as unsteady gait, slurred speech or double vision are sometimes experienced.

I Am: Celine DionĀ provides a raw and honest behind-the-scenes look at how Dion has coped since her diagnosis.

Naturally, the film also highlights the music that has guided her life – and showcases her voice. Oh, that voice! “My voice is the conductor of my life,” she says in the trailer.

I Am: Celine Dion will be available to stream globally on Prime Video on June 25.
