Anne Hathaway, known for her roles in Disney’s The Princess Diaries and The Devil Wears Prada, has confirmed her engagement to Adam Shulman after dating for three years, but has told media that her husband-to-be “ruined” her plan.
Hathaway, 29, began dating Shulman after her long-term relationship to Raffaello Follieri fell victim to his infamous fraud charges. Following the split, Hathaway has told US Weekly that she was looking forward to being single, but that meeting Shulman changed all that.
“I am very much in love with him, [only] Adam totally ruined my plan,” Hathaway said. “I was really actually looking forward to a little alone time, and then I fell in love like a fool!”

After just 72 days of wedded bliss, Kim Kardashian has filed for a divorce from her second husband, Kris Humphries, citing irreconcilable differences. The move groups Kardashian with the likes of Brittany Spears and Renee Zellwegger, both of whom have enjoyed equally brief marriages.
After some speculation, the news was confirmed by US TV and radio personality Ryan Seacrest, who also produces the reality TV show Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
Talk show host Piers Morgan has been quick to calculate the profit that Kardashian made from her brief second-marriage.
“Kim Kardashian sold the rights to her wedding for $17.9 million. Her marriage lasted 72 days. That comes to a nifty $10,358.80 per hour,” he tweeted.
