Makes 1 oven tray
Ingredients:
- 1 cup gluten-free flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup linseeds
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 2 tablespoons hemp seeds (switch out any of these for other seeds or even rolled oats as a cheaper option)
- 1 cup hot water
- 1/4 cup rice bran oil
Method:
- Line a baking tray with recycled baking paper and preheat oven to 170°C. In a bowl, mix dry ingredients together well.
- Combine water and oil and add to the dry mix. Spread mixture as thinly as you can on the lined baking tray. Its a sticky mess at this stage but have faith! Use a wet spatula to spread as evenly as you can and don’t worry about rustic edges. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from oven and cut.
- Place back into the oven for 50-60 minutes until golden. Allow to cool and store in an airtight container.
