Vegan Barbecue Sauce

The ultimate sauce with sweet and smoky flavours

Vegan Barbecue Sauce

Combine 500ml tomato sauce (preferably homemade), 3 tbsp maple syrup, 1 tbsp dark molasses, 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 2-3 tbsp tamari, 1 tsp sweet or smoked paprika, 1 tsp chilli powder and 1 tsp dried oregano in a bowl and whisk together.

Cover and set aside to allow flavours to combine fully.

Makes 2½ cups.
