Thai Venison in 
Lettuce Cups
This quick, healthy and refreshing meal is perfect for summer. Silver Fern Farms Premium Ground Venison a very lean protein and an excellent source of iron and essential vitamins.

Serves 2

1 pack Silver Fern Farms Premium Ground Venison

1 red onion, diced 

3 garlic cloves, crushed

2-3 chillies, finely sliced (red or green)

3 small limes, juiced

1 1/2 tbsp fish sauce

1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce

1/2 cup crushed roasted peanuts

1/2 cup fresh cilantro, roughly chopped

1/2 cup mint, roughly chopped

1 iceberg lettuce

How to make Thai Venison in 
Lettuce Cups

  1. Heat a frypan to moderate-high heat and cook onions, garlic and chilli until soft. Add Silver Fern Farms Premium Ground Venison and cook until tender. Set aside to cool.
  2. Add fish sauce, soy sauce and peanuts to venison mixture.
  3. Wash iceberg lettuce, discard outer leaves.
  4. Spoon the venison mixture into the lettuce cups. Garnish with coriander, mint and chilli strips. Serve.
