Foolproof Pastry Recipe
Ingredients:
3 cups plain flour
160g butter, diced, chilled
2 eggs
1 tbsp chilled water
Method:
Place flour and butter into a food processor and process until mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
Add eggs and water. Pulse until mixture forms a dough.
Turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead until dough comes together. Form into a 3cm-thick round disc.
Wrap in plastic film and refrigerate for 30 minutes or until firm.
Roll pastry out between 2 sheets of baking paper until 3mm thick.
