Summer White Sangria
A very summery beverage that you won't be able to get enough of this festive season!

This easy summer white sangria recipe makes for a refreshing twist on the traditional red sangria. Perfect for summer parties this recipe for White Sangria uses dry white wine, Calvados (apple brandy), summer fruit, cucumber and berries.

Summer White Sangria Recipe

Serves 6

Ingredients:

1 x 750ml bottle dry white wine
¼ cup caster sugar
¼ cup Calvados (apple brandy)
1 cinnamon stick
1 just ripe peach, very thinly sliced
1 Lebanese cucumber, thinly sliced into ribbons
50g strawberries, thinly sliced
¼ cup mint leaves
1 x 750ml bottle soda water, chilled

Method:

Combine wine, sugar, brandy and cinnamon stick in a large jug. Stir until sugar dissolves. Place in the fridge overnight.

Add peach, cucumber and strawberries to the wine mixture. Place in the fridge for 1 hour to develop the flavours.

Add mint, soda water and ice-cubes. Serve immediately.
