Fudgy Plum Sundaes
Have lots of stone fruit lying around and not sure what to do with it?

Don’t waste a single plum, bake them in the oven. Serve roasted plums with ice-cream and the ultimate chocolate marshmallow sauce. Try making these Fudgy Plum Sundaes they are delicious.

Fudgy Plum Sundaes Recipe

Serves 4

Ingredients:

8 plums, halved stone removed

2 tbsp demerara sugar

200g dark chocolate, broken into pieces

1 cup pure cream

8 white marshmallows

8 scoops vanilla ice-cream

Method:

Preheat oven to 200C. line a baking tray with baking paper. place plums onto prepared tray, cut side up. Sprinkle with sugar.

Roast for 10 minutes or until softened and juice begins to seep from plums.

Place chocolate, cream and marshmallows into a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water, taking care that base of bowl does not touch water. Stir until a smooth, thick sauce forms.

Place scoops of ice-cream into serving dishes. Top with chocolate sauce.

Serve with roasted plums and extra sauce.
