Paleo Porridge with Apple and Cinnamon

Paleo Porridge with Apple and Cinnamon
This is the wonderful gluten-free porridge which tastes just like apple strudel.

Paleo Porridge with Apple and Cinnamon is a perfect alternative to oats for a nourishing winter breakfast as it still is satiating and high in fibre and has the natural sweetness of apples.

Paleo Porridge with Apple and Cinnamon Recipe

Serves 1

Ingredients:

1 cup almond milk
1 apple grated
2 heaped  tablespoons LSA (linseed, sunflower seed and almonds ground up)
pinch cinnamon + a little vanilla
Fresh seasonal fruit to serve – I love banana!

Method:

Combine the almond milk, LSA and apple into a small pot.

Add vanilla and cinnamon.

Cook porridge over a low heat for a few minutes until heated through and thickened.

Serve in a large bowl and top extra fresh fruit.

I like mine with extra hot milk and a little Manuka honey.
