Café Sabarsky
Step into the café, in the Neue Gallery, the museum of German and Austrian art, and into old Vienna.
The
menu is small and choice: two perfectly round poached eggs in a martini
glass, Bavarian ham, brioche bread, fresh juices; coffee is served on a
little silver tray.

City Bakery
This is a lively place, as much community centre as cafeteria restaurant.
Organic
oatmeal, eggs and bacon, and near-legendary hot chocolate are among the
favourites; this also is one of the best bakeries in town, with great
muffins and other morning treats.
Clinton Street Baking Co.
Come
here for one thing above all: pancakes. The flavours vary – blueberry,
banana walnut – but they always are big, fluffy and tasty.
The breakfast/brunch menu is quite expansive, ranging from house-made granola to huevos rancheros and the biscuits are swell.
