How to Make – Chermoula
Chermoula is spicy sauce with fresh herbs, garlic, lemon, and warm spices. It will brighten up almost any meal.

Chermoula is spicy sauce consisting of fresh herbs, red onion, garlic, lemons and warm spices. It is widely used in North African cuisine to flavour fish or seafood, meat and soups. There are so many delicious ways to use this herby Chermoula sauce, try it spread on your sandwiches.

Chermoula Recipe

Ingredients:

1 cup flat-leaf parsley leaves, chopped

1 cup coriander leaves, chopped

1 red onion, peeled and chopped

2 garlic cloves, chopped

2 tsp ras el hanout

½ tsp chilli powder

1 tsp paprika

juice of two lemons

¼ cup olive oil

Method:

Place all ingredients in the bowl of a food processor and pulse to a coarse paste.

Season with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper and refrigerate until ready to use.
