Pork Chipolatas with Red Grapes

The combination of balsamic glaze and red grapes adds intense flavour to this Italian Pork Chipolatas with Red Grapes dish. Put your feet up and enjoy a glass of wine as the meal is cooking.

Pork Chipolatas with Red Grapes

In season ingredient: Red grapes

Serves 4


1 large red onion, cut into thin wedges

1kg good-quality pork chipolatas

500g red seedless grapes, separated into small clusters

¾ cup balsamic glaze

½ cup apple juice

salt and pepper, to season

10 fresh thyme sprigs

crusty Italian bread, to serve



1 Preheat oven to 200C. Put onion in the base of a large ovenproof dish. Top with chipolatas and grapes.

2 Combine balsamic glaze and apple juice in a jug. Pour over chipolatas and grapes. Season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with thyme. Bake for 45 minutes or until browned and chipolatas are cooked through.

3 Serve with crusty Italian bread.
