Ingredients
1 pack Silver Fern Farms PURE 97% Beef Sliders with Brisket
Pickled vegetables
4 tbsp white vinegar
Juice of 1 lime
2 tbsp white sugar
2 tsp sesame oil
2 star anise, whole
1 small cucumber, sliced into ribbons
1 small carrot, sliced into ribbons
To serve
½ cup sriracha mayonnaise
10 bao buns, warmed
½ cup fresh mint leaves
½ cup coriander
¼ cup peanuts, chopped
¼ cup fried shallots
Lime wedges, to serve
Method
- Remove PURE 97% Beef Sliders with Brisket from the freezer and packaging.
- To make pickled vegetables, place vinegar, lime juice, sugar and sesame oil in a jar and shake to combine. Add star anise and vegetable ribbons and set aside to pickle for 10 minutes. Discard star anise before serving.
- Preheat barbecue or pan to high heat.
- Reduce barbecue or pan to low-medium heat. Add burgers and cook for 6 minutes (4 minutes if defrosted). Flip and pierce burger to allow juices to run free. Cook for a further 4-6 minutes (3-5 minutes if defrosted), until burgers are fully cooked.
- To serve, spread sriracha mayonnaise on bao buns. Fill buns with herbs, Beef Sliders with Brisket, pickled vegetable ribbons, nuts, fried shallots, and serve with lime wedges.
