Serves 1
45ml vodka
grind of black pepper
pinch of sea salt or celery salt
a sneaky splash of sherry or red wine
4-5 dashes of Worcestershire sauce
4-5 dashes of Huffman’s hot sauce (we used Spiced Bloody Mary Tomato Ketchup)
150ml tomato juice
2 basil leaves, torn or slapped
slice of cucumber and stick of celery, to garnish
Combine vodka with pepper and salt, wine or sherry, Worcestershire sauce, Huffman’s hot sauce, tomato juice and basil leaves in a cocktail shaker.
Rock the shaker from side to side; shaking is fine, but tends to aerate the juice. Pour into a glass and garnish with a stick of celery and cucumber slice.
