4 gin cocktails that are perfect for spring weather
With warmer weather comes a desire to sip upon cocktails in the sun.

Whether you need some new tipples to spice up your lockdown, or are gearing up to share libations with your friends this spring, we’ve got four fabulous cocktail recipes to send you on your way.

Courtesy of Never Never Distilling Co, these gin cocktails are fun, refreshing and oh-so easy to whip up yourself.

The Red Snapper

Put simply, a Red Snapper is a Bloody Mary made with gin instead of vodka, so effectively made with something far more flavoursome. Everybody likes it differently, but this version is short and spicy with Sriracha instead of Tabasco sauce.

30ml Never Never Triple Juniper Gin

90ml quality tomato juice

10ml lemon juice

5ml Sriracha sauce

5ml Worcester sauce

Pinch of salt & pepper

Celery spear

Add all ingredients into a cocktail tin, add ice and pass this between another tin flamboyantly like a boss. Alternatively, you just stir it gently and not make any mess. Pour into a short glass and garnish with celery spear.

Fancy Fruit Cup

Thirst-quenching and simple to make, the Fancy Fruit Cup is the perfect drink for sunny days.

45ml Fancy Fruit Cup

45ml quality lemonade

45ml quality ginger ale

Add all ingredients to a wine glass and top with ice. Garnish with cucumber, strawberry, an orange slice and mint. Serve immediately.

Ginache Sour

If a Gin Sour isn’t something you’ve experienced before, then you may as well start the love affair right with a Ginache Sour. The name says it all. Beautiful fresh acidity is balanced by the candied apple and fresh raspberry of the 2021 Ginache – held together with a beautiful creamy texture that tastes even better than it looks.

60ml Ginache

30ml lemon

20ml sugar syrup

Egg white

Orange twist

Shake all ingredients in a cocktail shaker without ice to emulsify the egg whites. Add ice and shake hard. Strain into a rocks glass. Garnish with orange twist.

Med Gin Spritz

Looking for a spritz that hits differently? Then make sure you give the Med Gin Spritz a go. The perfect crowd pleaser for your events, or just enjoying at home, this cocktail is a must-have for your drinks rotation.

20ml Never Never Dark Series Med Gin

40ml Regal Rogue Daring Dry Vermouth

20ml lemon juice

15ml sugar syrup

45ml soda water or sparkling wine

Top with crushed ice. Garnish with orange wedge and olive leaf.
