The regeneration of Christchurch is ongoing after the devastating 2011 earthquake, but one area has been already been given new life.
A pedestrian shopping mall made from shipping containers is home to 27 stores as part of the City Mall Re:START project. It’s helping to regenerate the once bustling New Zealand city and has even inspired a whole new cultural calendar, as Julie Goodman explains:
