Pacific partnership

P&O Cruises have been casting off for a good cause as part of their Pacific Partnership Program with Save the Children Fund.

The organisation, which runs P&O cruises has teamed up with aid group to help make a difference to the lives of newborn babies across the Pacific, through their annual “Born to Knit” drive. MiNDFOOD readers who were interested in taking part were asked to come forward and help by knitting a square.

Well it’s been a few months since then and the outpouring of support has been overwhelming. We have received everything from bonnets, socks, scarves, jackets and blankets – all destined for children in need. Now, Ann Sherry, CEO of Carnival Australia, which operates P&O Cruises, joins the show to give us an update on how the program went and what other sustainable projects are in the pipelines:
