Red Bull doesn’t give you wings, company pays out $13 million

Did you buy a Red Bull drink between 2002 and October 3, 2014? Did it give you wings? No? Then you may be entitled to a payout, friend.

The company recently agreed to pay $13 million directly to consumers to settle two consumer class action lawsuits. While the settlement is currently only active in the US, we’re hoping it makes its way here soon too.

The suit came about after drinkers claimed they were misled by the company’s trademark slogan, ‘Red Bull gives you wings’, claiming that their advertised promises of “increased performance”, “improved concentration” and “reaction speed” were false and misleading.

While Red Bull company denies any wrongdoing, they agreed to the settlement in order to avoid any further action.

Proof of purchase for the $10 payout or $10 Red Bull product credit not necessary.
