Susie Burrell’s Turkey Balls
Together with Helga’s, Susie Burrell has developed the below recipes to guide people wanting to follow a low GI diet.

Serves 4

500g turkey mince

1 medium onion, finely diced

4 slices Helga’s Lower Carb Soy & Toasted Sesame, blended into crumbs

1 egg

1/2 cup fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, oregano, marjoram)

1/2 cup reduced fat grated cheese

250ml tomato pasta sauce

1 can 420g can tinned tomatoes

1 tbsp. olive oil

4 cloves garlic

Mix mince, onion, egg, herbs and cheese into small balls and roll in Lower Carb breadcrumbs.

Fry with a little olive oil in a fry pan until cooked through.

Meanwhile, simmer tomatoes in small amount of olive oil, with garlic.

Serve sauce once reduced with turkey balls.
