3 ways with Nashi Pears
Sweet, flavoursome and dribble-down-your-chin juicy, the nashi pear makes for a splendid afternoon snack. But when added to vibrant salads and featured in desserts, the fruit takes on a whole new dimension.

Sweet, flavoursome and juicy, nashi pears are a great source of folate, antioxidants and Vitamin C and they’re in season right now. Here, we show you three ways to use this tasty fruit.

Produced in Australia for over 25 years the Nashi Pear is a unique fruit with a rich history and was common place on banquet tables of Emperors in ancient Japan.

With a seasonal period spanning across much of the year, from March till December, this fruit is an excellent source of folate, antioxidants and Vitamin C.

The perfect accompaniment on a cheese platter, scattered in a salad or dessert, juiced or as a sweetener in japanese-inspired marinades and dressings.
