Located in the picturesque town of Sant’Oreste in Italy’s Lazio region, the historic villa is listed on Airbnb, offering classic Italian rustic charm that travellers dream of.

If you’ve seen Normal People, you’ll know the villa plays a central role in the show as Marianne’s Italian holiday home.

Iconic scenes from the show see Marianne and Connell beside the vast pool and lazing outside having an alfresco dinner.

The place holds a special place in the region’s history, it has belonged to the same family for over 150 years. It can accommodate up to six people and features a dining and living room, kitchenette and modern bathroom.

In addition to the huge pool, it also sits next to a beautiful park. And it will only cost you €40 per person a night on Airbnb.

While international travel isn’t looking likely anytime soon, you can always save it in your wishlist for later.

Explore the stunning film locations from Normal People

Marianne and Connell’s relationship isn’t the only thing fans have fallen in love with.

Filmed across Ireland, Italy and Sweden, Normal People features some stunning film locations – from the rugged coast of Sligo, to the historic heart of Dublin, to the snow-covered landscape of Sweden.

Take a look at the beautiful places where the show was filmed.

Sligo, Ireland

Marianne and Connell’s fictional home of Carricklea was filmed in the small town of Tubbercurry in Sligo, Ireland. The stunning beach where the couple spend much of their tome was actually filmed northwest of Sligo, at Streedagh Beach.

Trinity College, Dublin

The over 400-year-old Trinity College in Dublin is the setting for many scenes in Normal People. Most of the scenes were filmed around the campus and in the iconic Parliament Square, as well as Berkeley library where Connell spends much of his time.

Gammelstad, Swedish Lapland

The snow-covered town of Gammelstad in Luleå, Swedish Lapland, stood as the backdrop for Marriane’s time in Sweden. One of the most stunning shots was of Marianne walking across some of the frozen Baltic Sea that surrounds the town.
