The September 2018 issue of MiNDFOOD celebrates the 125th anniversary of the Suffrage movement in New Zealand. Comic-duo, singers and social activists Lynda and Jools Topp shared the inspiration behind their vigorous campaigning over the years.
A cold winter morning at an Auckland studio was soon warmed by the infectious presence of Lynda and Jools Topp (affectionately known as the Topp Twins). The ladies, not too keen on being styled by the MiNDFOOD team, have a very clear sense of who they are and what they represent, and this was reflected in their choice of clothing.
Both good sports, the ladies humoured our stylist by attempting the outfits she has selected for them – even if it was just for a laugh.
Through the course of the fun-filled morning, the Topps spoke at length about their music, motivators, and passion for a good cause, all under the banner of celebrating the remarkable achievements of women in New Zealand.
