Trenzseater shortlisted for prestigious international design awards

Luxury furniture and interior design business Trenzseater has been announced as a finalist for two international interior design competitions.

The interior design work for Trenzseater by general manager Ben Lewis has been shortlisted for the International Design & Architecture Awards and the Society of British International Design (SBID) Awards.

Lewis has been nominated for his work on a rural home in Canterbury, with the interior design tailored to complement the newly-renovated home’s architecture.

It’s the fourth consecutive year that Lewis has been a finalist for the International Design & Architecture Awards, which he won last year; and the third year in a row that he’s been a finalist in the SBID International Design Awards.

The latter is arguably the most prestigious interior design award event in the global design calendar. The awards recognise, reward and celebrate design excellence across a broad range of design categories. The finalists are evaluated by leading industry experts for their technical content and aesthetic creativity while the design-conscious public also has a say in choosing the most inspiring projects.

Submissions for the awards were received from over 49 countries, with each entry undergoing a two-tier judging process by panels of leading industry experts from Christian Louboutin, Bentley Motors, Boeing, Walpole and Belmond to name a few.

Meanwhile, an acclaimed global judging panel was also behind Lewis’ selection as a finalist for the International Design & Architecture Awards.

The awards celebrate excellence in the interior design and architecture industry on a global scale, recognised by leading designers and architects as the benchmark in global design.

The International Design & Architecture Awards are held in September in London, where the sponsors will announce and award the winning entries with their trophies.

As part of the judging process, the public has an opportunity to vote for their favourite entry.
