The Man Who Mistook a Picasso for his Pot

The Man Who Mistook a Picasso for his Pot
Take to Titirangi this weekend for some scintillating ceramics.

As part of the Auckland Festival of Ceramics taking place this month, the Upstairs Gallery in the historic Lopdell House is hosting an exhibition of illustrated urns and sculptural plates by artists from A Supported Life, which assists adults with learning difficulties. Entitled “The Man Who Mistook a Picasso for his Pot”, this exhibition also features illustrated wall hung plates with 3D glaze by illustrator and editorial artist, Anna Crichton, who tutored the artists. With their bright and bold imagery – these unique pieces are definitely one-of-a-kind items

10am-4pm daily, until December 4
