Providing a seriously luxe take on literal arm candy, BVLGARI’s latest collection of leather goods and accessories – titled Oasis – is inspired by the brand’s icon, the serpent and the concept of metamorphosis as seen in the snake’s ability to endlessly change its skin.
The nod to the transformative power of the serpent takes shape in amplified proportions, unconventional material combinations, maxi elements and playful details, but also through key motifs of the maison’s heritage, reinterpreted in unexpected ways.
Highlights of the highly covetable offering include a spectrum of opulent, tactile finishes from patent leather and python to raffia and blown-out quilting, and a playful yet still sophisticated palette inspired by a “magical pink sunset”.
Decadent details, another BVLGARI signature, came in the form of jewel-like serpent heads acting as both adornment and as functional fastenings, and chain straps in snake-like, classic or matte-painted variations.
