Your mind might not automatically go to Chanel when you think of beachwear, but the House’s latest collection will have you dreaming of lazy days lounging on the sand in Hawaii.
The new Coco Beach 2021 Collection is a love letter to summer with its nostalgic tropical print, while its black-and-white colour palette is Chanel simplicity at its finest.
Belgian singer Angèle is the face of the Chanel Coco Beach 2021 campaign, and she loves the fact the collection allows for comfort on hot summer days.
“Comfort has always been important to me because I’m very active,” says Angèle.
“I find it hard to wear things that restrict my movements. And sometimes it’s to the detriment of style, because what’s comfortable is not always the most beautiful.
“But at Chanel, there’s always been this desire to combine the two. That’s what really attracts me to this House and to the history of Gabrielle Chanel, what she wanted to bring to women, this liberation.”
The Chanel Coco Beach 2021 collection is now available in a selection of Chanel boutiques around the world.
