The Mental Health Minute is a one-minute-long message which was broadcast across every radio station in the UK at 10.59 local time on Monday, reaching 20 million people.
The message aimed to remind Brits that everyone is connected and they are not alone, and also urged people to ask for help if they are struggling with their mental health.
For this year’s message, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were joined by England captain Harry Kane, singer-songwriter Dua Lipa, two-time heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, and actor David Tennant.
Also featured at the end of the message were mental health advocates, ambassadors and volunteers from Heads Together charity partners.
The Mental Health Minute was produced by Radiocentre and Heads Together, the mental health initiative coordinated by The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Heads Together seeks to tackle stigma and change the conversation on mental health, as well as fundraising for a series of innovative new mental health services.
