A colourful collision of art, entertainment and food will transform the MCG’s Yarra Park from 30 November to 3 December 2017 as Taste of Melbourne prepares a feast for all senses with world-first, top secret collaborations from the city’s favourite chefs, artists and musicians.

2017 Highlights

  • Electrolux Chefs’ Secrets will see world-class Aussie and international chefs host intimate masterclasses, explaining their tips and secrets to their signature dishes
  • Table Talks will be an informal and intimate opportunity for gourmet lovers to learn about everything from popcorn making, sausage stuffing, vegetable smoking, and innovative products available in the marketplace
  • Melbourne pastry-wiz Matt Wilkinson will collaborate with Estrella Damm for an exclusive Taste of Melbourne-only Wagyu-lager pie, along with two dessert pies
  • 5 contemporary Aussie artists – Ash Keting, Josh Muir, Geoff Nees, Nixi Killick and Evie Cahir – will collaborate with top chefs as part of Taste of Melbourne’s first creative CoLabs. The iconic dishes and limited edition artworks created by the five pairs of collaborators will only be available to buy at the festival exclusively
  • Internationally-renowned Aussie paper-artist Benja Harney created the 2017 event’s imagery and online artwork out of paper, resembling fruit and delicious meals
  • Aussie award-winning multi-spirit distillery Archie Rose will host a Gin Masterclass, which will see guests blend and take home their own unique bottle to sip ‘n savour
