Take a walk under the stars to help New Zealand women
Go pink for breast cancer and join thousands under the stars for the Pink Star Walk.

Dig out your pinkest outfit, gather your friends and experience New Zealand’s pinkest night walk on the Pink Star Walk in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch.

More than 3,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in NZ. The money you fundraise will help fund research, education and support programmes — it will help change and save lives!

What?

The Pink Star Walk is a fundraising walk for men, women and children of all ages and fitness levels in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch at dusk in support of the NZ Breast Cancer Foundation.

When?

Auckland – Saturday 8th October 2016
Christchurch – Saturday 29th October 2016
Wellington – Saturday 12th November 2016

What time does The Pink Star Walk start and finish?

This year the event start times have been staggered according to the distance you are walking and the location. Please take a look in the About section of the website for details of all the event start times (events: Auckland, Christchurch, and Wellington). Please aim to arrive on time in order to prepare yourself for the walk and join in on pre-event festivities (it is imperative that you are at the pre-walk safety briefing which will be shortly after the stated event start time).

Walking times vary greatly so we can’t say what time you will finish walking. The entertainment however will finish at roughly 9.30pm. Walkers are encouraged stick around until the end to cheer on those still walking and to enjoy the night’s entertainment and be in to win a spot prize!

There will be no rush in completing the event – the route will be manned and lit until the last participant has finished.
