‘Sweet Street’ Dessert Festival Returns to Sydney

Dessert lovers will rejoice in the return of Executive Pastry Chef Anna Polyviou’s Sweet Street, the dessert festival of the year to Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney on 29 June 2018.

Sweet aficionados will embark on an indulgent journey into the deliciously vibrant world of sweet treats and funky beats and savour the tantalising flavours of Sydney’s leading culinary creators.

The all-star 2018 line-up includes Anna Polyviou, Adriano Zumbo, Blackstar Pastry, MakMak Macarons, Butter, Uncle Tetsu, Koi Dessert Bar, Kirsten Tibballs and Petal Met Sugar.

Polyviou will showcase a selection of her colourful creations, includingPopping Caramel, which combines milk chocolate, popping crunch and passionfruit caramel, and Matcha Match, which blends matcha, crunchy cornflakes and strawberry. 

Festival goers will enjoy entertainment, including graffiti artists, break-dancers, rappers, a dessert-eating competition, arcade games, prizes and DJ spinning tunes, including by DJ Brown Rice.
