STYLE must-haves: The best boots for winter 2021

We’re calling it – it’s now officially, 100 percent boot season! And of course, the STYLE team is armed and ready for action with their winter 2021 footwear wishlists. Here are some of the highlights.

I’ve had my eye on these BÉBÉ boots from coveted local brand Rebe for a while now, and as they’re currently on sale I think I will finally have to indulge. I usually only buy black boots (boring, I know) for their versatility and understatedness, but I think python – like leopard – is one of those prints that’s almost like a neutral – plus adds a touch of edgy luxury. – Josie Steenhart, contributing editor

I’m a big fan of the chunky, stompy flat combat boot trend but I prefer them without laces, so I have my eye on these Camilla & Marc ones as I like their mid-length and elasticated panels. – Megan Bedford, beauty editor

I tend to be quite lazy when it comes to my footwear, normally opting for a comfy black boot. But lately, I’ve been searching for a dressier option. I love the Sanguine Ankle Boot in camel leather from Merchant. – Kathryn Chung, staff writer

Now that I know that there’s a Wittner store in Commercial Bay I will be making my way there to get my hands on these ankle boots. They are exactly what my winter wardrobe is missing and needs. – Ashley Wallace, staff writer

Combat boots with a fashion twist are definitely trending right now, and I love Mi Piaci’s take via their Nora boot, with its clean, slim (and slimming) lines and cool croc trim. – Josie Steenhart, contributing editor

For a winter staple, I’m eyeing up the Havana boot from Ivy Lee, the soft brown leather and squared toe style makes it an instant classic. – Kathryn Chung, staff writer

I purchased these RM Williams boots recently and I have gotten so much wear out of them as they add a bit of an edge to floaty floral dresses that I plan to wear layered up with a polo for winter, but they also suit blue jeans and a white shirt or knitwear and they are so beautifully made. – Megan Bedford, beauty editor
