Duchess of Cambridge makes a court-side appearance in support of Royal Foundation charity.
As Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex wrap up their Royal Tour Down Under, on Tuesday, the Duchess of Cambridge – formally Kate Middleton – stepped out with Prince William for a visit to Coach Core at the Basildon Sporting Village in Essex.
The parents of three were there to learn more about the apprenticeship program, which helps young people who are not in education or employment to build a career in sports coaching.
The Duchess, who typically dresses down for courtside events in sneakers and jackets, instead wore a black and white patterned Smythe blazer over a turtleneck sweater and black jeans for the appearance. She accessorized her look with morganite and diamond cushion drop earrings from one of her go-to jewelry designers, Kiki McDonough – as well as a pair of heeled boots.
Both Kate and William joined in on coaching sessions for indoor athletics. The royal mom grabbed a tennis racket to take part in one of her favourite sports.
As patron of the Lawn Tennis Association, the Duchess has been an avid fan of the sport and it showed in the snaps. Even in heels, the Duchess looked like a natural on the court.
She has been slowly dipping her toe back into her royal duties after taking six months off to focus on her growing family since welcoming her third child Prince Louis in April.
Coach Core was launched to build on the legacy of the London Olympics in 2012 by the Royal Foundation, the charity organisation led by Prince William, Prince Harry and their wives.
