Non-profit organisation recreates famous fashion spreads to promote adoption of shelter dogs

Dogs that are taken in by shelters often face more than the usual challenges, when it comes to marketing themselves for adoption. Often abandoned, the dogs are usually found in bad shape, dishevelled, malnourished and flee ridden – not to mention quite irritable and scared from their past experience with humans.

These factors often negatively impact their chances of being adopted in a swift manner.

One non-for-profit organisation is attempting to change this by presenting the now pampered pooches in a light that makes them irresistible to the general public.

Po Psu Ta Moda understands the importance of marketing in making sure these perfect canines have the best chance of receiving a forever home.

They aimed to create an environment where these beautiful dogs could be showcased just as a gorgeous model would be – on the cover of a magazine.

Their theory seems to have worked, with most of the animals featured here, thankfully finding their forever homes.
