Binge-watchers and Royals fans rejoice!
The highly-anticipated release of the next season of ‘The Crown’ has been confirmed for November 17.
Netflix revealed the news in a message parodying official announcements made by Buckingham Palace.
Framed, and perched on a golden easel, it read: “Dear public, The official arrival date of the third series of The Crown is as follows: 17th November 2019.
“We would like to express deep gratitude to all those involved and we wish the public the most splendid of viewing experiences.”
Actress Olivia Colman will play Queen Elizabeth II, taking over from Claire Foy as the lead role in the hit Netflix drama.

Back in 2017, Colman said of her Royal appointment:
“I’m so thrilled to be part of The Crown. I was utterly gripped watching it.
“I think Claire Foy is an absolute genius – she’s an incredibly hard act to follow.
“I’m basically going to re-watch every episode and copy her,.
“I just love her, I admire her so much and the idea that we sort of will be doing the same job but not actually working together is just enough – I’m honoured by that.”
Remind yourself of Foy’s most inspirational quotes from the first two series here.
Tobias Menzies will star as Prince Phillip, Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret, Ben Daniels as Tony Armstrong-Jones, and Josh O’Connor as Prince Charles.
The third installment of ‘The Crown’ will span the years 1964 to 1977.
