The Notorious RBG is back. If you’re getting confused with Biggie Smalls, think again. The Notorious RBG is a legend for a whole different host of reasons, all of which can be discovered in the new film, RBG.

RBG is the moniker for 85-year-old Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

A cultural phenomenon, legend of the law, and all-around good sport, Ruth Bader Ginsburg is the kind of lady people make films about.

And now they have. There’s a revelatory documentary exploring Ginsburg’s exceptional life and career and it’s called RBG.

She’s probably the best-known member of the current U.S. Supreme Court, and rightly so, Ruth Bader Ginsburg has certainly made her mark.

Fighting against gender discrimination well before women were welcome in the courthouse, the quiet warrior laid the foundation for a fairer and more just America. It’s no secret that sexism was rampant in America during the 1950’s, but that didn’t stop Ginsburg. She defied all stereotypes and expectations by being appointed to the Harvard Law Review before transferring to Columbia Law School where she graduated tied for first in her class.

Without a biography, the unique personal journey of this tiny, lion-hearted lady’s rise to the nation’s highest court has been largely unknown, even to some of her biggest fans – until now. RBG is a revelatory documentary exploring Ginsburg’s exceptional life and career from Betsy West and Julie Cohen and co-produced by Storyville Films and CNN Films.

RBG is a must-see documentary, for all people – men and women alike. To view the trailer, click here.

RBG will be in selected cinemas from July 26th.
