Puna Kai

Puna Kai
Don't miss your chance to celebrate Matariki and experience delicious dishes inspired by Maori cuisine at the inaugural Puna Kai tastebud experience.

Puna Kai is welcoming the Matariki season at the Viaduct, with a collection of street food vendors producing international food with a Māori twist.

The team at Fresh Concept have handpicked eight of Auckland’s top food trucks to add a traditional twist on their menus in honour of the rising of Pleiades.

Menu items include Manuka smoked salmon crepes with traditional spices, Green Lipped Mussels barbequed on a wood fire, and Kawakawa infused sorbet, the leaves of which are hand picked by Lalele Organics.

Between 12 and 4, expect to indulge in delicious food, take part in a food-related workshop, enjoy games with the kids & relax with an exceptional DJ set from Kina Cuts.

Vendors Include:

CheLucio BBQ – Pork or Chicken thigh, cooked on the grill with Manuka wood, potatoes and watercress salad. Kumara chips

Crepes Creations – Manuka smoked salmon crepes with traditional herbs

Lalele Organic – Kawakawa Sorbet
