Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, has been involved in a car crash near to Sandringham Estate.
The Duke of Edinburgh, 97, has escaped unhurt after the car he was driving was involved in an accident close to the Sandringham estate in Norfolk.
Prince Philip was driving his Range Rover out of a driveway onto the A149 shortly before 15:00 GMT when eyewitnesses told the BBC that the car had overturned.
Buckingham Palace said the crash involved another car, and two people in it were treated for minor injuries.
The palace did not confirm if he was alone in the vehicle at the time of the collision. “The Duke of Edinburgh was involved in a road traffic accident with another vehicle this afternoon. The duke was not injured. The accident took place close to the Sandringham estate. Local police attended the scene,” said a statement issued by the Palace.
The Duke has been examined by a doctor at Sandringham, where he has been staying with the Queen over the Christmas period.
The Archbishop of York, John Sentamu, tweeted a prayer in support to the duke, and later another one for the two other people involved in the accident.
